Gold Dot unites exceptionally well-crafted ceramics and coffee, shaped by decades of dedication to ceramics and craft. In a world increasingly driven toward shortcuts in materials and value, Gold Dot moves in the opposite direction—committed to uncompromised craftsmanship in both.
Each ceramic piece is designed and made in California by Rocky Lewycky, a ceramic artist and educator with over three decades of professional experience. The work reflects long practice in clay and an understanding of form developed through sustained making and teaching. These are functional objects produced in limited quantities, intended for daily use and long-term durability rather than mass production.
Our coffee is roasted in small batches using the same approach. We work with trusted sourcing partners and select coffees for balance, clarity, and consistency. From carefully developed blends to distinctive single-origin offerings, each coffee is chosen for how it performs in the cup and how it reflects its origin.
Gold Dot exists at the intersection of craft disciplines. Ceramics and coffee share a reliance on material, timing, and process, and both reward patience and care when approached with intention.
We offer coffee subscriptions, ceramic cups, and limited releases designed for everyday use. Across everything we produce, Gold Dot Roasting maintains a focus on material integrity, longevity, and craft.
